Our mission is to create a cultural and educational bridge across the Mediterranean, fostering dialogue through the universal language of music.
🎯 Our Mission & Vision: Thanks to the support of the European Union, we provide free, high-quality education to musicians from diverse backgrounds. While the project has a global outlook, the Estoudiantina of Cyclades focuses on empowering artists living in Syros and the Cycladic islands.Sustainability Goal: We are committed to the long-term impact of this initiative. Our goal is for the local community and the musicians of Syros to embrace the Estoudiantina, ensuring its vibrant operation well beyond the program’s completion in February 2026.
🎹 Key Program Actions: The project delivers a multifaceted educational experience through:Blended Learning: Hybrid seminars (in-person and online) featuring distinguished artists, musicologists, and researchers.Artistic Practice: Active participation in professional rehearsals and live concerts.Open Educational Resources (OER): We are creating a digital library of free educational material (sheet music, instructional videos, and recordings), which will be permanently hosted on our website.Collaborative Innovation: The program will culminate in a collaborative music video, showcasing the seamless connection of Mediterranean cultures.
